ENGAGING WITH THE MEDIA

Speaking to journalists and the media can be a cathartic experience and a good opportunity to have your voice heard, advocate for your loved one and tell the truth about what happened to them. Raising awareness about how your loved one died and airing concerns, criticisms and failures can have a positive impact and bring about change.

However, engaging with the media can also be difficult, exposing and scary.  Remember, speaking with the media is not the only way to advocate for your loved one and you only need to engage if and when you feel comfortable and ready to do so.

Our dedicated media team can offer advice, suggest friendly journalists and answer any questions you might have.
