Lucy leads on media and communications at INQUEST. In this role she supports bereaved families to share their stories in the media, and to contribute to systemic change through collective campaigns organised alongside the communications and policy team. She also manages the INQUEST brand, website, social media and publications.

She has worked with INQUEST since 2017. With a background in journalism, Lucy has a degree in Sociology and Politics and was an editor and organiser at STRIKE! Magazine.

Lucy previously worked as a policy officer at HM Inspectorate of Prisons and assisted in the co-ordination of the UK National Preventive Mechanism. 

Lucy is also a freelance communications and campaigns consultant, supporting small and grassroots organisations to push for social justice and change, working with organisations including the New Economy Organisers Network (NEON) and the Sheila McKechnie Foundation . She is also a trustee of the Public Interest Research Centre (PIRC).
